Since 1923, hummel havetraveled a long way to get where they are today. They’ve faced many changes of ownership, many different premises across Europe, bankruptcy and even a world war. But this hasn’t deterred hummel from becoming one the worlds most leading sportswear brands. 2011 sees another big year for hummel, with their brand new collection of vintage and retro trainers, which highlights hummel’s heritage and authenticity.

Nike Spring / Summer 2011

Nike have started the year with their all terrain adventurous game face, using ACG influenced colour-ways as their tablet for the first drop. The first drop of the year included the highly sought after Air Max 1 ACG pack set along side the infamous Pegasus ‘89. This season also sees the release of a very premium Air Force 1 and the Pegasus ‘92.

Nike Air Maxim +1

One of Nike’s most innovative and well known Trainers, the Air Max was first introduced in 1987,  aimed towards runners, the signature Air bubble attracted the attention of consumers and athletes alike. The folks at Nike took inspiration from the Air Max and created the Air Maxim +1.

Nike’s Design Director Jesse Leyva said, “We took the original Air Max 1 design brief and ran it through a present-day filter” which also made the new Air Maxim +1 66% lighter than the original.

Nike Challenger Vintage.

Originally released in 1979, the Nike Challenger was the ideal running shoe of its time. Mixing a suede and leather upper with a waffle soul, this vintage re issue boasts a distressed finish and yellowing to the soul and laces completed in a fashion that only Nike know how. Overall it is a beautiful vintage shoe, available from us in a classic Blue/Grey.
