The Baracuta Harrington Jacket is a garment that really shouldn’t need any introduction, it’s even been graced with it’s very own Wikipedia entry which is surely a sign of it’s popularity?! First made by Baracuta in the 1930’s, it really took off when Elvis Presley wore one in his film ‘King Creole’. Since then, it’s never really gone away, always being championed by both subcultures and the mainstream.
Perhaps the celebrity most famously associated with the Harrington is the eternally cool Steve McQueen. If it’s good enough for him………
